Acceptable Use Policy
What users can and cannot do on Planlark, with specific expectations for AI features, classroom information, and platform safety.

1. Lawful and authorized use only
Planlark may only be used for lawful, authorized educational, planning, administrative, or evaluation purposes. Users must comply with applicable laws, school or district requirements, and any contractual or policy restrictions that apply to their workspace.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, systems, integrations, or networks.
- Uploading or generating unlawful, abusive, hateful, fraudulent, defamatory, sexually explicit, or malware-related content.
- Using the service to send spam, perform scraping, run denial-of-service activity, or interfere with normal platform operation.
- Infringing copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or other intellectual property and legal rights.
3. Student and school information
Users must not place sensitive student or classroom information into Planlark unless they are authorized to do so and the use is appropriate for their school, district, or legal obligations.
Do not use AI features to process student data in ways that are prohibited by school policy, parental consent limitations, or local law.
4. AI-specific restrictions
- Do not use Planlark AI features to create misleading, harmful, or discriminatory material.
- Do not submit prompts intended to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or bypass safeguards in the AI system.
- Do not rely on AI output as final truth without human review, especially for grading, discipline, safety, compliance, or sensitive communications.
5. Enforcement
Planlark may investigate suspected misuse, remove or restrict content, suspend features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where necessary to protect the platform, customers, schools, or the public.
